We can get through this round after that 1 nil win as our defence is good, especially with KB there, and we can score away. But I fear for us beyond that unless we can get our play in the final third right.

I think that's the next step with this team. Getting better quality in that final 1/3 and a top goalscorer. Jane Ross has done well this season but is having a really poor spell recently. And as much as I like Nick Cushing I am a bit worried that he plays the same 11 almost all the time even though some of the regulars are doing very very little up front. Asslani and Duggan always do one or two good things a game but little seems to come from their feet.

I know over a full season there will be a goal or so but it just isn't there on a consistent basis. I feel Parris ( even though her final pass/shot is rarely controlled), Stanway and Corboz have been unlucky not to be starting. Middag too especially considering how poor Izzy is playing at the moment.

Certainly cannot fault effort but the composure and quality is just missing in attack.

You're bang on. We need one top striker. Jane has been out of form for what seems like ages and there's no one to take up the slack.

The squad is so small we've had games with 4 subs, and today we had 2 keepers on the bench.

Plus side, with Keira and Georgia we're set for the next few years in midfield, especially while as you say, Izzy is really not firing. Those 2 are class.

Great result. Very important that they kept a clean sheet. That will make their task in Denmark that little bit easier.

The clean sheet is more than welcome. From what I saw, and I didn't see much, Brondby had little with which to trouble Steph and Beats! Let's hope that was their best game!

'Tis not a little unsurprising that the DT this morning has no mention of Keira's 35 harder! I wonder how many column inches she'd have got had she been clad in an Arse, Dipper, CFC shirt, or even Doncaster Belles! We do get a mention today in the DT - Vinnie's injury scare!
