City youth policy would be rocked by Brexit

At the moment we can sign EU players from 16. Once we leave the EU in a couple of years this won't be allowed and the minimum will be 18.

Is there a way around this and will it seriously affect the academy's ability to attract the best players?

No one knows but no one really knows what Brexit will actually look like as yet.

Suspect one of our partner clubs would end up having a very good academy if this becomes a problem.

They would have to be in the EU which they aren't so that wouldn't work. Only EU clubs can sign EU players from 16

Was thinking more NAC Breda and the one Pep's brother owns or part owns (Granada?)
