Lets get a sense of perspective. These were hard core hooligans from Dinamo Zagreb living up to their reputation with little interest in the actual game. They were intent on causing trouble and damage from the outset. Hooliganism across Europe is a major problem involving organised, nasty thugs.
UEFA need to recognise the problems these types of travelling fans cause and the real challenge in controlling them. UEFA`s charges and punishments should be targeted on the real perpetrators.
So, the BBC and The Mail lead with City being charged, yet the greater offence is second and only described as Dinamo Zagreb being in "hot water". This is typical of the distortions of the British media.
It`s time UEFA and the media got their priorities right.
