TBH mate, i'm not in one, but i bet a chunk of the 1500 on monday night at anfield will be from OSC's. Don't here anyone moaning about those tickets!

Even if they are, and that is just speculation, so what?

There isn't any defending it. It is just an old boys act with people with vested interests playing the system.

No-one can come up with a justifiable defence for it so they skirt around the issue or bring in unrelated issues.

There is absolutely nothing stopping people in supporters' clubs taking the same route to get tickets as everyone else.

There is a points system in place for a reason. Everyone knows that supporters' clubs exploit the system and there is no reason to allow them to continue to do so. If it means a few saddos having to cry their way through the game because they can't sit next to 100 of their mates then so be it. Perhaps they might reflect on how they shouldn't have exploited the system.

OSC's were here well before any loyalrt scheme.

Oh dear, here we go again! OSC's blah blah blah. People will get tickets from any means necessary, for themselves. I don't give a shit who gets one as long as i do.

Fine.

But that view precludes you from commenting on the validity of the current system.

You admit that you only care about yourself and don't give a shit if loyal fans are shat on.

So why are you commenting on the issue (with what initially seemed a defence of the system)?

With that attitude your views are irrelevant to the whole topic.

I'm not sure why that should be considered at all relevant.

Anyway, I'm off. This is most definitely a 'vested interest' topic and the thread, as they always do, stinks of people benefiting defending it because they benefit.

Nice one. I'll take that as a thinly veiled "your right, but I don't want to admit it"

Goodnight

My problem is this.....I know someone who is a member of one of the branches I have listed. They dont come from the place where the branch is based, dont go to meetings, dont travel to matches with them. They have NEVER had a season ticket, only attend the odd match every now and again. They have a ticket for Wembley from thay supporters branch.

How is that a fair and useful system?

Oh for goodness sake not this again!! You are NOT guaranteed a ticket if you join an OSC!!

You and I both know that you have to have enough loyalty points but some people will only believe what they want to. Wonder which Supporters Club only charge £5 for membership cos the two I belong to charge more than that.

Oh and I've got enough points even though I got my ticket through an OSC.

And I know this to be completely untrue as I posted above your comment.
