Citycards and Wembley

My problem is this.....I know someone who is a member of one of the branches I have listed. They dont come from the place where the branch is based, dont go to meetings, dont travel to matches with them. They have NEVER had a season ticket, only attend the odd match every now and again. They have a ticket for Wembley from thay supporters branch.

How is that a fair and useful system?

It is not a fair and useful system if there are routes to shortcut it.

I currently doubt my chances of a ticket with 1680 points and a wait until Saturday. Am happy to be disappointed if the greater loyalty of others means they get a ticket and I do not on this occassion. Will be pig sick if I miss out behind cheats who have worked the system for their personal gain.

True loyalty no matter how great or small, must count for something!

My favourite subject. Always makes me laugh when members of OSC defend there actions saying you can only get one if you have the points. Simple way of getting around this is use OSC to meet fans near where you live, Use them to book your transport however order your own tickets when you fall into the criteria like everyone else.
Just look at Chelsea - Felix had been to 100 consecutive games, liamctid probably around the same yet both couldn't qualify through points; they got their tickets and by all accounts barely recognised a soul there. Thats surely not right.
I have been to every home and away game this season, including Euros, apart from Newcastle and Trafford United, and I have over 5,000 LPs but could not get a ticket for Chelsea either. However that is the way the cookie crumbles. I take my chances and sometimes I am lucky.............. but I really wish I had gone with the courage of my convictions yesterday and bet on City winning 5-0 when I told everyone else they would!! :-)

i think you ll all get a ticket, i actually know of two season ticket holders who are not going and are not getting their tickets for anyone else either..believe it or not city have quite a few who will do the same...as for loyalty city blew that out of the water with the cup scheme, although in fairness to them they know every season ticket holder will be offered one..of course you are worried while your turn comes around but that is to be expected..you will get one...can i just add that citycard holders that are not members of a supporters club are in my opinion the ones who will miss out...i understand supporters clubs getting tickets for their members who have citycards, why not, when you have the cup scheme first timers who just joined to bag the extra points getting one...also if you go to every game then why the fuck wasn t you in the cup scheme and you would have had a ticket from day one..i dont mean to sound harsh with that last one, but if you go to every game then surely you should have joined

This argument about the OSC is a load of tosh

The OSC has been going 50+ years and has always sorted tickets out for members, rightly or wrongly. If your at the thin end of the Loyalty Scheme then your never going to get tickets for the bigger games, so if you want to go get off your backside and do something about it. The only people I know who have been able to get around the system where the cup direct debit people and to be fair they didn't knowing they could jump the queue until they announced the selling criteria.

just because you go to chelsea and dont know anyone, does not mean that those people do not have a right to be there..i guess they dont know you either
