City's €140m summer will "stun English football"

Its amazing how the reputation of Goal.com ebbs and flows depending on what they are writing about City

To be fair, they've improved vastly over the last year or so, they used to be no better than Tribal Football.

I think they head hunted some of the reporters and directors from Sky Sports so yes it has improved but still isn't great. Worth going to just to shake your head at the 'debates' in the comments section!

Is it just me that thinks the official opening of the window on July 1st is ridicuously far away? Should open no later than two weeks after the end of the season.

Why would it need to open earlier? Clubs don't return to training until early July so there is no need to open the transfer window any earlier. Its all pretty meaningless anyway as you can sign a player at anytime, you just can't transfer their registration until July 1st.

Has someone told City this? Judging by our usual transfer activity I believe this would come as a shock to them..
