Is it just me that thinks the official opening of the window on July 1st is ridicuously far away? Should open no later than two weeks after the end of the season.

.. and compromise the hallowed footballing spectacle of the Confederations Cup? Heresy.

People really shouldn't slag off goal.com. their editor has really changed the site over the past year to two years. Greg stobart and Wayne veysey are very reliable and are proper journalists. We all knew these were our targets this just reaffirms that we're going to have a big summer and our mgmt is committed to moving us forward on all fronts

is that lad at the front wearing an arsenal top??

no wonder the girls did better than the boys after they were all rumbled for being a shit band.

Were those to be our signings I can see Richards becoming more of a regular central defender, assuming Lescott is sold, as there is no semi-reputable defender on that list (only Novaretti who will be a backup option). Interesting that a Malaga based journalist suggested that Pellegrini might opt to use Milner as an attacking right-back which could allow us to sell Maicon and make Richards a CB without having to buy.

Only my opinion but I think Richards is a horrible CB.

That's a mighty list alright. What I'm most confident about is that even if we don't sign our first choices for whatever reason, we'll have perfectly good alternatives lined up.

For example, if Isco went to Madrid, could we sign Lamela or even Thiago for that position and then go back in for Ander Herrera to play in that deeper position?

Anyway, exciting times.

Tell you what you would have smashed Kym Marsh back then. Cant believe the bloke she ended up having a kid with. He was punching well above his weight.

Thinking about it though, we can't really take that list seriously as we seem likely to be selling Lescott, and who knows... maybe Barry too. So we'd need to sign some home grown players - there are none in that list.
