Promoted in 1966
15th in 1967
1st in 1968
13th in 1969
10th in 1970
11th in 1971

We were fukin useless away from home, seem to recall only winning two away one year

The thing is , all the teams got pissed as as a normal. Boxing day was always a comedy of errors, early starts and most still pissed. No one team really had an advantage.

Can u remember the Kippax chant in the Fenerbace game, " Frys Turkish delight " SHITE .

Also remember stretford end taking piss with their ...whose that’s knocking song....it’s Joe mercer and his mates with turkey on their plates........ Kippax got their own back later with Matt busby and his mates with spaghetti on their plates etc etc
