Win the CL, treble or whatever in that kit and 10 years from now there will be cries from fans to have a touch of purple on the anniversary home shirt.

In a year where we have an as classic as it gets anniversary home shirt on sale, I’m not too fussed about a purple band on the shoulders of a one season home kit.

Fair point.

Up until the point we do a Cardiff and the top will be as red as some of our rival clubs. But than again, if we win a quadruple fans will cry for a red top.

Never know it might have been planned all along by some secret rag on the kit committee. He'll announce it on red cafe when the shirts officially revealed.
