we will coz its still not in the city of manchester.........i think the postcode system is fairly random to be honest and having an M postcode doesn't make a place more Manchester , for example Atherton has an M postcode and is 15 miles from town FFS!!
Postcodes mean nowt really Tranmere rovers have A CH (Chester) Postcode but they certainly aint in Chester

As for FC united, I presume they'll use that wasteland right on the junction of ten acres lane? You know, the one which has a huge wall going right down towards our stadium opposite the Abatoir? I wonder if Fc united have a 'firm'?!!!!! Imagine that? Our new deadly rivals who reside just half a mile up the road meeting up for 'meets'! You can't make that shit up!

FC United fans are possibly worse than ordinary reds. Encountered more than a few of these in the past and they hate City with a passion.

Interesting stuff, so they're not moving to the Lancaster Club then?
Yes they are buying the Lancaster club as a training facility and opening it for public use. They are building a new stadium on the park land next door. 40 acres!

And the deal for the Lancaster will be all tied up and cotracts exchanged within the next 6 weeks.

I live 5 mins walk from Avro's, (Lancaster Club), and i'm M40, (near the Broadway boozer). Would Avro's not be the same? Either way, it's still Manchester. In the future, should another Oldham club be up and coming, they'll be able to say Oldham fans aren't from oldham, pretty much like we try to wind the rags up with not being 'from' Manchester!!!

On a serious note, it'll be interesting to see how they do the logistics of it all. The brook-land at the side of Avro's will be used, I guess, and a cut through road built off of Broadway? Even with just 12k fans though, it'll make Broadway/Oldham Road hammered, and its already bad as it is. I wonder if they'll have Oldham's matches at home when we're ar home? If thats the case on the odd occasion, be prepared for long walks hom if you live Northside! I'm quite happy about this all in all, hope it goes through.

Highays agency have already agreed, there will be an entrance & exit between the entrance to the Lancaster & the next road up on Broadway

Failsworth had an m postcode as it was Manchester up untill the 70's

Back onto the subject...If the biffos do move to failsworth it could end up being a masterstroke to be fair, theyll never convert any of the blues/rags from the area but in an "mk dons" style move could end up getting neutral families along for a day out at the football
