City's popularity expanding worldwide

It's a thing we slagged the rags off for - difference now is the game is a world wide game in terms of being accessible to watch live.
I moved to the US 11 years ago and the game was on Fox Soccer and expensive to watch. NBC took over and put it on regular telly (and yes a to be paid for stream too for other games).
11 years ago hardly anyone I knew had any knowledge of the PL. Now a great deal of folk I meet watch it and tell me who the team they picked is.
Many people in England haven't been to the US but a good number will have an American football team they route for.
I watch games at an Irish Bar in Tampa and I'm in a very small minority of about 3 or 4 out of dozens who don't turn up wearing official merchandise. I know a great deal of the Tampa Bay Blues bought their replica shirts the other week from official sources. The club are raking it in (as are the other clubs)
Interesting, sounds like city got the timing right there , winning stuff just as it went mainstream in the US

I was in London last week and there were a fair few City shirts seen on kids and a few adults. We had dinner with a group of friends - supporters of Spurs, Arsenal and Watford. We were watching City against Forest. They were all very impressed with City. The one thing we all had in common was a mutual hatred of United and Liverpool.

We are usually on holiday in Scotland at this time of year, on the Isle of Mull. I was looking on Rightmoves for property prices up there, and I came across this picture of what looks like a boy's bedroom. Seems we're catching on up there too.

2012 City vs 2022 City is like Rolex 1950's vs 1960's

People hugely underestimate what Sean Connery with a submariner in Goldfinger did for Rolex and what Agueroooooooooooooooooooooo did for City.

Goldfinger was followed up with a lot of good 007 hits and City followed up Agueroooooooooooooooooooooo with the Pep Era.

We're here to stay and only getting better and bigger!

We have the best manager,we play the best football, and we have the best and most likeable players....Haaland propelling the latter to even greater heights.

Kids around the world want to be connected to all of that, they want to associated with success, and very few clubs can now compete in that respect....we are creating a monster!
