City's winner on Sunday

The bit that gives me anxiety is when Nedum stands on Kun's foot just before he shoots - so many strikers would have gone down to claim a penalty, but Kun was just focussed on one thing.

Exactly what I thought. It was right in front of us and I can remember in that split second thinking we are about to get a penalty and then suddenly wham it's in the net. Just shows when a striker is on top of his game he just wants to give himself the chance to score. Ashley Young would have gone for the trip. So many others would have done as well.

Agree but it's the thing about Nasri ballsing up the throw in thing that gets me, had he not made that mistake we'd not have won the league....odd

Agree entirely, but by the same token if Lescott had not messed up in first place we may not have needed Nasri to then cock up so late in the game.

For me it starts with superman Zaba who'd been on his last legs for at least 10 minutes, getting all the way from the right wing to the other side of the pitch on the half way line to tackle Shauny - supreme unwavering commitment from our hero.

As Lescott won the header and intelligently directed it to NDJ. I remember screaming "it's gotta go now Nigel" as he brought it calmly upfield waiting for the right pass. Thank fuck he was calmer than we were !

I love the face on the kid on the right of the screen in the black jumper at 93:56 on the Sky clock, totally bewildered, open mouthed with astonishment !!

I'm crying again !

As soon as Aguero turns after De Jong's pass he's determined to score. You can see that in the running past the two defenders who try to block him out. Sensational stuff!

Nasri is sent to us by the football gods. He knew what he was doing. He is not a very naughty boy.....

I couldn't help but notice similarities in this goal and Dickov's too, just look at them both:

Ball goes forward through the centre. It comes to the Goat on the edge of the box. The Goat goes to ground but manages to slide it sideways to Dickov just inside the box, Dickov rounds his man with a deft touch and fires it with his second touch in at the near post.

Ball goes forward through the centre. It comes to Mario on the edge of the box. Mario goes to ground but manages to slide it sideways to Aguero just inside the box, Aguero rounds his man with a deft touch and fires it with his second touch in at the near post.

I noticed it as soon as it went in and it just felt like history repeating itself.

For me it's absolutely uncanny and I find it almost spooky, even though I'm not a fatalistic person.

Do you think it would have been given as a pen had he gone down? And do you think Mario would have scored it?

I'm not too sure. Looking at the ref's position, don't think he could have seen it that well.

Also Barton's elbow seemed to be on the line, which is classed as in the area.
