Just what I was thinking. Wouldn't surprise me at all.

I called this previously, it felt like all the semi-final refs where auditioning for the final, think he’s a good appointment, but we had it all our own way against Madrid, inter Milan are a different kettle of fish regards the dark arts, might be best to keep the Poznan under wraps till the games won in case they’re Legia fans :)

These Polish refs are, same as PL refs. never fans of the top teams. They will have been lifelong fans of some non-league team.
