CL Last 16 (Dinamo Kiev) (NO City away fans) (24 feb and 15 mar)

January 1st is the next official transfer window. No transfer can take place before then.

Probably a misunderstanding somewhere - he has definitely gone.

29 - Post balance sheet events

As at the date of signing the Directors’ Report, since the year-end the football registrations of Raheem Sterling (from Liverpool FC), Fabian Delph (from Aston Villa FC), Nicolas Otamendi (from Valencia CF) and Patrick Roberts (from Fulham FC) have been acquired. The football registrations of Karim Rekik (to Olympique de Marseille), Edin Dzeko (to AS Roma), Marcos Mesquita-Lopes (to AS Monaco) and Dedryck Boyata (to Celtic FC) have been sold. The net expenditure on these transactions was approximately £68.3m.

I've just worked out that AS Roma ,who are a listed company, had to post their interim report up to Sept. 30 2015, and Edin Dzeko according to the earlier article suspiciously hit "performance clauses" that initiated the transfer the day after this.

Not sure if there's dodgyness in that but it's the Italians so you know...there's dodgyness in that

According to UEFA, no fans are allowed to enter stadiums during closed-door fixtures. A maximum of 75 persons from both the host and away football association delegation, including the players, may enter the venue. The visiting association is entitled to purchase “200 top-category tickets for their VIP supporters, sponsors, etc., but it is not obliged to take the full allocation,”
“Any other kind of supporters from the home or visiting team are expressly forbidden,”UEFA added.

Pull the other one UEFA, it's got 500 cska supporters hanging off it.

In order of preference, based on both destination and opponent, I'd probably go for the following:

Gent
Benfica
PSV
Roma
Kiev
PSG

Kiev win and a draw puts Porto second.
I know it didn't happen and is irrelevant, but had Chelsea and Porto drew, it would have been a three way head to head with Chelsea ahead of Porto who would be ahead of Kiev who would be ahead of Chelsea so it would have gone to goal difference with Tel Aviv's results removed. On goal difference, it would have been Kiev top, then Chelsea.

I think.
