Dortmund would be an excellent draw considering who they might lose on Jan. Reus,Hummels etc!!

Twitter. And sounds plausible. You have to see that there is 3 spanish teams (who probably will be set on 2 different dates - same with the Germans) and 2 German teams in pot 1 - and 2 English teams and two German teams in pot 2. As the English and the German cannot any of their own nation.

It is influenced in addition as Bayern and City, Chelsea and Schalke, Arsenal and Dortmund have been in one group. That is why the chance for Leverkusen to get Chelsea is the highest...

I think everyone can agree Monaco would be ideal, Porto then Dortmund for me. The obvious 'big 3' in any order.

Not sure about the relative strengths of Monaco and Porto. But Porto would provide more away tickets

Porto would see Fernando and Mangala back against their old club. These things have a knack of happening in football.

I'd definitely add Atletico into that, maybe even more so than Barcelona. Problem is however teams look now, there's a good stretch of season before the next round of games will be played. I wouldn't mind playing Dortmund right now for example, but if they get all their injured players back and start clicking again I'd rather avoid them.
