If we're going to win it, we will have to face the best, and we will know how to play them this time hopefully.
Sergio will be back by then, hopefully he can pick up where he left off, we are also defending better, Pellegrini seems to have reigned in his over adventurousness ( which has left us vulnerable in big-games) we might not be free scoring, but check out the goals conceeded tally in our last 5 games.

Who cares if it was fixed and who the draw is, if we played Monaco, Dortmund or whoever and got an easier tie we'd then afterwards be open to play an even harder team. It is pointless in this competition picking and choosing your draws based on difficulty, they are all difficult and it gets worse. Of all the teams we could of got, I'd place Barcelona quite highly on my desirable list because Real, Atletico and so on can beat us but Barcelona play 1 way, are reliant on 1/2 players and we know exactly what to do this time.

It matters because City can't get out of Pot 2 by going out in the round of 16 every year.

If we win the Prem we are automatically in pot 1 next year (rules changes)

Its quite clear that they do not want us to progress, the chances of us getting a group of death every single year then getting Barca twice in succession after we manage to get through is highly unlikely. Add all this to the FFP bollocks only points to one thing. IT FUCKING STINKS.
