I think when we renewed our season ticket when we moved to the Etihad we got 1500 pts pretty sure that's when pts system started not 100% though.

I think Loyalty Points started in 2001, from memory.

First match you got points for was Norwich away in Aug 2001 but the points system didn't start until August 2003 and the away and cup matches were awarded as 10 points each plus 1,500 points loyalty bonus if you had had your season ticket 5 years, on a sliding scale to 1,000 for new ST holders.

From 2001-2003 they did "tracking" for away games, which became points.

So essentially it all began with the away game at Norwich 24 years ago and whether you were inclined or able to attend

That last paragraph about the "tracking" was the bit that I knew happened but couldn't quite remember

Yeah fair enough. I think we were all shocked at how low Monaco went. I would suggest it's because of the short notice, however Bratislava was the same week last year and that sold out on 24k or something.
