CL QF Draw - City V Spurs ===== SF V Ajax (If we get there)

Oh how I'd love to get Porto or Ajax, Dippers and rags fuming about the number of easy games in the cups we've had, convinced it's rigged so we'll win everything.

"...there is no doubting that City have been drawn to play against weaker opposition this season."

If the numpties thought about it for a second when you're the Champions of England all other domestic teams are weaker opposition,

I don’t think he means weaker to City, but weaker opposition to what is available to be draw. We’ve had such good draws this season I’m leaning towards the possibility that it’s being fixed FOR us.

Strangely when we were drawing Bayern and Barca and Juve in the CL group stages and not making the last 16 (even with 10 points) they never mentioned the standard of th opposition - just City failed to make the Round of 16. An oversight obviously.......

Truth is that for any 1 of the 7 to win it all, they will have 3 challenging encounters and English sides will inevitably face off

Like to see City vs Barcelona in the final otherwise City vs Liverpool if Barcelona get knocked out. Juventus to play Porto is a virtual lock

And last season, Definately something going on though to keep giving us these easy draws.

Suppose we're due a hard draw so I reckon we'll get Barcelona or Juventus.
We got a good Champions League draw because we are the Champions and hence top seeds. Easy draws? They've not been bad but we played Chelsea in the Final to win the League Cup and we played Leicester away on the way. Not that easy.

The last time Liverpool won trophy was in 2012 against Championship Cardiff City in the League Cup final.

Haha mate the final isn’t a draw, but every other draw we’ve had has been VERY good for City, almost the absolute ideal draw every round. If we get Porto tomorrow even i’d call it strange

if we get Porto tomorrow I will............be surprised.
A hard draw is inevitable but tbf, we have more chance over 2 legs than a one off imo.

Rags , Liverpool then Barca in the final , beat the 'istree clubs then there are no arguments about who is the best team in europe.

I couldn't care less about their arguments. Nobody remembers who Liverpool played in 70s, just their titles. I'd play Schalke in each stage if possible.

I'd call it luck.

Some of the ticket prices for the final are eyewateringly expensive, anyone any idea how many in each category?

Only 4,000 tickets will be available on general sale and a further 17,000 will be made available to each side that makes the final - Atletico Madrid’s home has a capacity of 63,500.
38,000 fans will be at the stadium, which is just over half of the capacity, but a whopping 25,500 tickets will be saved for corporate partners and UEFA affiliates

Chance of two all English ties 10%

Chance of one All English tie 67%

Chance of zero all English ties 23%

According to an article I read.

You spelled ticket touts wrong.

Roughly 4,250 to each club in each of the 4 categories listed above, another 1,000 in each category on general sale and a further 25,500 in the 'fucking ludicrous price' category (£1k and upwards) going on sale through viagogo and the likes.

Poetic justice would be Liverpool v Juventus , and Juventus comfortably going through, the last time they played each other when the Kop sung their YNWA and every single Juventus supporter to a man turned their backs on them , more of the same , what the wall pushers did at Heysel should never be forgotten or forgiven by any football supporters especially the English clubs who got banned for five years.

Apologies if already been mentioned, at work not a lot of time to search for it but how many are on the cup scheme if we were to make the final, would 50% of season ticket holders on the cup scheme get a ticket or less?
