I think it would be a bit of a black/question mark on Guardiola's record if he had 3 CL titles and all of them won against that shower of turgid shite.
 
If we don't get Ajax or Porto then various people will cry 'fix' even though there is only a 2 in 7 chance of getting one of them. In reality, if we want to win the CL then we have to play 'difficult' teams (and I wouldn't personally call Ajax or Porto 'easy') eventually and, if we are firing on all cylinders, we should be able to beat anybody and should fear nobody.

I'd rather get Spurs or the rags than Ajax
 
I don't want any piece of Ajax just yet (would enjoy watching them take apart United, though)

They are very dangerous in transition and have the type of technique which means we would have to be nigh on perfect in possession not to have them running off the back of our own midfield.

Their performance in Madrid, regardless of the state they are in, was one of the best I have seen from any team but City when it comes to selecting the right pass and opening the spaces.

I'd fancy us against Juventus' backline. I wouldn't be losing any sleep either being drawn against Spurs or Porto.
 
I genuinely believe we are the best side left in the competition but that doesn't mean much, so in terms of favourable draws I'll go for:

Spurs
Rags
Porto
Juve
Ajax
Dippers
Barca

whoever we get hopefully we're away first.

Yeah, looks like it's been a year too far for most of them, I was very disappointed in Atleti the other night for being so defensive when they'd cut through Juve almost at will in the home leg and an away goal would have finished the tie. Still wary of Juve as a team though. They'll know it's more than likely the last chance for most of them in the CL and both Milan clubs have used that as motivation to go on and win it in the recent past.
 
It is wonderful to know that City is the team that no one wants to draw.

City can beat any of the teams left most quite easily.
 
I think if we are going to play PL teams then get them over with ASAP. My order of preference is

Spurs
Rags
Porto
Dippers
Juve
Ajax
Barca

A PL team in the final would be awful. The Chavs / Rags finakl was the worst of modern times so I'd much prefer a decent foreign team in the final even if that means not getting spurs.
 
Don't want ajax yet. Let someone else knock them out. They are quality and will cause us problems with the way they play.

After last season I now want another swing at the scousers to shut the twats up
 
We’ve had unbelievable luck in draws this season so I think the time has probably come when we get:

Juve, Barca, Liverpool or rags
 
Drawing Porto would be ideal, around the quarters are when our league games are tricky. That would simplify it albeit we still have to take Porto seriously. Plus it almost guarantees the dippers get a tricky tie.
