CL QF Draw - City V Spurs ===== SF V Ajax (If we get there)

Also prefer not to play against English clubs ,but it´s pretty interesting this season that you know the pair you will go up against in semi-finals.

I am not really bother who we get in the quarters, just so long as it is not Liverpool or the rags. I just can see the same thing happening again should we get Liverpool again. Their fans would do the same thing as last season, knowing that it will put our players off their game again. It will then allow their players to play their best knowing that our players will be suffering form shock, and be unable to respond should we concede a early goal.

So you are not really bothered who we get but then say you don't want to meet the rags or dippers, you sound like mrs death choosing a holiday destination :-) in fairness to you though you have only excluded a quarter of the possible options after stating you are not bothered ....

We all believe ( I mean hope) this. But navigating the route also helps improve that likelihood.

Avoid, Pool, Juve and Barca, and we'd be good. I

City v Porto
Ajax v Spurs
Lyon v Juventuss
Bayern v United

City v Spurs
Bayern v Juve

City v Juve

This will be a nicer route :)

City.
Lol. I can't disagree, only UEFA have the answers; )

Have you ever heard an old northern English expression - "As bent as a nine bob note" ? .... It was a colloquial northern English saying back in the day in and around Manchester, especially pre decimalisation.....A big part of why their shit anthem gets booed mate.

Porto would be the easiest tie, also the nicest place to visit, but after the easy draws City have had in various cups this season you can feel a difficult one coming. Think City could win both legs home & away against either the rags or L'pool, but it's Juventus that worries me. They are tough at the back and then there's Ronaldo, of all the players in the CL he's the one who can most win a match on his own.

We would own them over two legs. They would be shitting it.

You're prob right, but many of us thought the same in last year's quarters - anything can happen in a one-off, but we'll get them over two.

Maybe VAR will make a difference this time - it certainly would have done last year.

Dude! You know I'm from across the pond and unlikely to have heard of this :)

I'm going to have to ask @Zin 'messiah' Zimmer what this is all about so he can jerk my chain when more.

I'm triggered!

Hopefully we won't have to worry about Pool after today :)

Ronaldo can score, for sure, but we have at least three forwards who can score freely, midfielders and even defenders who can score and ten players who can all put in assists.... :)

Make that 11. Even Ederson has laid in some assists :)

i don't mind who we draw. While no team can be taken for granted, i think Juventus are a hurdle. Would it be better to avoid them until the final, or face them twice before then?

For my mind, i do like the feel of playing Utd in the quarters and Munich in the semi's - and hopefully someone else deals with Juvenus lol.
