CL Quarter Final Draw - Liverpool A Apr 4th - H Apr 10th

Assuming Real Madrid get through they and Barcelona are the only teams that scare me, and we have the tools to beat both over two legs if we play at our best.

Anyone else should be hoping and praying they don't draw us. That includes Liverpool and it certainly includes United.

Sevilla/Rags - whoever comes out of it.

Rags would be great, imagine thrashing them four times in a season. They get thrashed in CL and then have to present us guard of honor in PL.

It would put in them a fear of us which could last a generation.

Scary stuff those QFs - We could be playing Utd 3 times in a week! Maybe Spurs 3 times in a week and a half with a derby after the first game. Whatever some tough games either side of the derby!

Porto
Beskitas
Roma
Sevilla
Shaktar
United
Chelsea

Juventuss
Spurs
PSG
Madrid
Liverpool
Bayern
Barcelona

From top to bottom. That's how I prefer them from 1 - 14

Ideally Seville, but Mourinho's defensive sniping mantra, is more suited to the CL, where strictly speaking, you only need two draws, to qualify for the next round. It would be stupid to underestimate him

It's more suited to the CL right up until the point where they lose the first leg or end up with a result like a score draw at home in the first leg. Then both he and his players are forced to step out of their comfort zone against a quality side and will get torn a new one.

Utd must qualify - we can't be having Guardiola playing a 2nd 11 against them (and he would!)
That said if we win that would make my season.

Like most of you I'm a typical City fan.

I always expect something to go wrong. It's a hard habit to break.

After all it's in our DNA. Especially if you went to York away. ;-)

But even we can't blow the return leg against Basel.

So, on a positive note, who would you like City to draw in the QF's of the CL, if your preferred opponents qualified.

For me the obvious choice would be either Roma or Shaktar.

Sevilla. ;)

One of Peps biggest regrets is his over rotation at Bayern once the league was sown up. He believed it took the momentum out of them when it came to playing in the champions league

Quite. I can't be doing with losing ANY game to the rags - no matter how unimportant.
Still I hope to see Phil Foden play large chunks of games in the league once it it sown up. The lad is going to be an absolute star and the sooner he shows Pep that is the case the better for the club. Possibly Diaz too.

picture becoming a little clearer, Us, Liverpool and Bayern job done, Barca, Real, Spurs look likely too. Just two to go
