CL Quarter Final Draw - Liverpool A Apr 4th - H Apr 10th

Wouldn’t want the rags as the league derby would be bang in the middle of both legs. I really want that derby to be about us properly taking the piss but if it would end up being overlooked because we would be more concerned about the European derby.

Do you think PSG would be 16 points ahead in the premier league at this point if they were playing over here? I doubt it. They're very good and capable of beating us I'm sure but I wouldn't say they're on another level.

PSG have exceptional players but are a poor team based on the performance last night. They might beat anyone in a one off because of individual brilliance but they have a soft underbelly and it wouldn’t have surprised me if they had conceded more in the closing stages last night. Contrast their performance with our ‘passing machine’. Real have loads of experience of how to succeed in the CL including how to play the refs. I thought they attacked with pace and aggression and that might indeed trouble us. However, again, I saw non of the exceptional teamwork and control of the game that we show. My conclusion is that we have nothing to fear from either of these sides and have a 60:40 chance of beating them over 2 legs. Definately didn’t see anything that demonstrated they were on a different level to us.

Madrid are really dangerous they’ve only got the Chsmpions League to play for and have all the experience in the world. I hope they go out personally.

Couldn’t agree more, our defence wouldn’t be able to handle the speed of their front line. Still think we’re abit off the big boys imo
