It is the fact it was anight match, if you rely on public transport you are lucky if you get home on the same day.Just so. Puzzling. I strongly suspect that it's the men who swell the numbers for the derby, because they'll go along to see anything in the hopes of seeing the evil rags beaten. Were there many men there last night, though? I was paying attention, and there really didn't seem to be many.
On another topic: I've got a good friend, long-standing from college days, who strenuously objects to being called a “lady”. And I've got another good friend who strenuously objects to being called anything else!
Complicated, the wimmin, aren't they?
When the ladies were playing at the weekend in the summer at 3pm the crowds were building up very nicely. Night matches and winter in that stadium are hazardous to your health.
