Not sure why PZ got a standing ovation yesterday. He knew he was on a yellow and gave Dean a decision to make that he needn't have, that's why he apologized later.

I did not clap him and don't remember ever clapping a player when they have been sent off. just seems wrong to me since it almost always makes a successful result less likely. A bit like clapping an own goal.

Get to fuck you pompous twat.

Rodney you plonker:)

Why did the Wednesday player get clapped off last night??

Perhaps because the crowd including many many City fans thought he had played well and had been harshly treated. It was not a vicious foul, not even a clear goal scoring opportunity so they stood as one to commiserate with him.

I was one of them that clapped Zabba off and I did it last night for the reasons mentioned above.

Perhaps it also shows we have some class. It did not matter that he was an opposition player.

it was strange. But I think it was a view on the silly ref.
Game was over so why bother sending him off.
A sympathetic clap.
But tbh, the player then lost any sympathy when he refudedicated FL's hand. So bollox to him.

He gives everything for city and always tries his best he is as gutted as u wen he was sent off because he knows how hard it was gna be for us to win the game after that. He's one of us.
