People who say Harry is a bit thick clearly have no clue what it takes to be given a seat in a multi million pound attack helicopter.
I'm not particularly a royalist, but I at least respect his contribution, as I do all that have served the country.
People can say what they like, but to call the fella thick is just displaying ignorance.

He got a B in Art and a D in Geography despite going to a ludicrously expensive school and also having private tutors. He is as dumb as shit academically and whilst I accept you can't just jump in a helicopter and just fly it actually isn't that difficult - just like flying a plane. Two things that are actually not that difficult and assumed to be far harder than they are

And the best way to stop it is what? - peddle a load of staged bullshit including multiple lies and wonderfully staged "pretend UK headlines" in a 6 episode programme on Netflix that is clearly going to keep them at the forefront of public visibility for a period further and push people further into two camps of 'for' and 'against'. So - to be clear you are saying that you have to be of a significant level of high intelligent to fly these helicopters. Where are you getting this information from that he must be intelligent because he learns to fly a helicopter. How many people do you know who had the opportunity and were never able to learn (because they were presumably not intelligent? What makes him intelligent - Is it IQ? Is it academic intellect?
I can fly a plane, does that make me more intelligent than someone on bluemoon who can't or..... does it mean I just happen to have learnt to fly a plane and many other people on bluemoon haven't had the opportunity? I suspect it is the latter, I had the opportunity to learn and others didn't. Not sure if that makes me more intelligent - I suspect it doesn't

He didn't just fly though did he? He flew in combat situations which as you know is a completely different discipline.
I'm not getting into a long drawn out argument here, all I'm saying is that Harry is clearly not "thick" as some have said.
I'm not a qualified pilot, but I've been lucky enough to "have control" in both light aircraft and a heli, and I found the heli more difficult.
Maybe I'm a bit thick ;-)
