Of those already mentioned, Astral Weeks gets my vote. I'm not much of a writer but the following article sums it up

Genesis Seconds Out also a good shout. I'm not a big genesis fan and I hate Phil Collins. This live album was recorded as Collins took over vocal duties after Peter Gabriel left but has a lot of the oldclassics on it and for some reason it all hangs together brilliantly. I play it a lot.
Two other favourites of mine
Rick Wright- Wet Dream 70s solo album from the Floyd keyboard player, I doubt whether it was abig success and I have never heard it referred to as a classic but it's an album I love. There's a few instrumentals on it and the vocal tracks are all about the break up of a relationship and the realisation that it's all falling apart. It's got a fantastic mellow and melancholy feel to it, I think Gilmour is on guitar and Wright's vocals are great. Much much better than Broken China, his recent solo effort. Seek it out guys and gals, I promise you won't be disappointed.
Finally, a lost classic Doll by Doll "Gypsy Blood". Doll by Doll were around in the eighties punk/ new wave scene but didn't quite fit. Described as celtic rock by some, they were fronted by Jackie Leven who has released tons of solo albums that just don't recapture what Doll by Doll had. Gypsy Blood is their second album and for years wasn't available on CD but now is along with their three others. The fourth album is really a Jackie Leven solo album but there's loads to like on the others and Gypsy Blood is just one of those albums, likr the Rick Wright one that just all hangs together. It's highly recommended by Julian Cope in this article;

and get's it's proper acclaim as "Rock's lost masterpiece" <a class="postlink" href="herehttp://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/rockandjazzmusic/3664428/British-rocks-lost-masterpiece.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">herehttp://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/ ... piece.html</a>
It's not lost now folks. I'd love to hear that I'm not the only person on here that rates this album, are there any more Doll by Doll fans out there ?
