Classic Champ Man players of days gone by

If this was the guy from Stockport (striker) then my brother went to Junior school with him, and I went to junior school with his older sister. In real life he was a prolific goalscorer for Stockport County Reserves but never made the grade and, I think, never played a first team game for anyone.

I used to sign players from Scandinavia all the time, they invariably were dirt cheap and ended up quality. Some block called Kristiansen, and attacking midfielder, was always exceptional.

Champ manager 99 I used to always be Macclesfield (don't know why) and I always made a guy called Ecliudes de Castro my first signing. Think he was
Brazillian or Columbian or summat, but he was ace, attacking midfielder, scored bags of goals and assists, and was still a good player for Macc in the Premier League. Used to do shitloads of loans from City youth etc to get me promoted.

dos santos
robinho
borre
lee chun soo
freddy adu
renato augusto (sp?)
Santa cruz (99 i think him n elber where amazing together)
mark kerr
kim kallstrom
How amazing was kompany i couldn't believe it when we signed him and hopefully he will live up to his FM cult status

Mark Collis and Ferah Orosco from Cambridge in champ man 93 think they were 2 of the developers or summot always came for a few seasons were brilliant then pissed off abroad and you couldn't do anything to stop them

Van den Borre was brilliant
Bojinov class
Kompany great
Freddy Adu legend

BUT the best signing i ever made was a young striker from Barnsley for a fee of £5,000,000 and he goes by the name of NATHAN JARMAN. He literally won me everything there was to be won with Spuds. League, Champions league, FA cup, League cup, everything. I sold him 4 season later for £68,000,000 to Real. Never forget the time i had with Nathan.

Niklas Bärkroth.

Absolutely amazing 15 year old midfielder from FM2008. You have to load all players from Sweden and he starts at IFK.

Per Ciljan Skjelbred from Rosenborg was class and only about £1.5m.

Marcelo Zalayeta was ace and I usually got him for whichever Championship club I managed, and he scored shit loads to get me to the Prem and keep me there.

Augusto Fernandez from River. All his technical attributes used to be at 20 within a couple of seasons, but strangely he actually never did that special for me when I signed him.

CM3: (Not sure if this was just my version, but...)

Ian Moore - Stockport
Leon McKenzie (cant remember, maybe Luton?)

did the business for me every new game I started.

CM00/01 (version I played to death)

Javier Saviola
Mads Jorgensen
Kennedy Bakirciouglu
Stefan Ishizaki

Were class. In fact, any u21 Swedish international was like the dogs bollocks

-- Tue Jun 08, 2010 10:28 pm --

And can anyone forget Andryi Sigporrson? For someone with terrible stats, he always banged the goals in
