I remember getting a PS when it first came out.

I loved Doom, and Medal of Honor, but they were so hard so had to use the cheats to become invincible, especially on doom where on one level, some giant killed you with a rocket straightaway.

But no one has mentioned the fantastic Striker 96. With commentary by Andy Gray. Graphically not brilliant, but the gameplay was fantastic, and that had an indoor 5 a side option too, but, curiously, the view was behind the goal. Was awful to try and work out when your team was coming towards you as you look...but on the whole, great game.

Michael Owen World League Soccer on PS1 was the daddy, was never off it. By far the best game I've ever had. Beating 'The Getaway' and San Andreas on PS2.

The first Formula 1 game in '95 was awesome. Used to play it a lot with a mate for money with 2 TV's linked together.
Also the first two Driver games, especially the first one with San Francisco featured in it was great.
