well when does something become classic, surely thats an opinion. Im sorry if I have out you out but I thought we could expose reggae fans to some new stuff too on this thread?

...but on your main point, it may well become "classic" if it goes on to be a widely recognised or much loved example of a genre or epitomises a style within that genre. At the moment it is neither. Nowt wrong with new stuff but I doubt whether this will get there. He's definately got something and there's an interesting voice in there somewhere but his delivery seems to not quite know where it's going, I'm not a betting man but my money would be on it ending up in the interesting yet ultimately a novelty cul-de-sac box, IMO of course.
At the moment definitely NOT a "Classic reggae tune" by any definition.
