Clattenburg, the FA & Adebayor - proof that the system is bent

Coming to this thread late, but did anyone mention SWP's violent assault on the soft and gentle Rory Delap?

Lying on the floor, SWP flicked out a leg that barely brushed against Delap. Delap later went on to say that he was unaware that SWP had kicked him! The ref at the time saw it clearly as he was running over and was staring right at it. I think it was Martin Atkinson but my memory is crap. I had video at the time which showed the ref looking at the incident as SWP flicked his leg out.

You can guess the rest. Atkinson did nothing at the time (which was absolutely the correct decision given the triviality of SWP's flick and the fact that he had been kicked all over the park all afternoon. But surprise, surprise, after the ensuing media shit-storm, Atkinson suddenly decided he was blind and had not seen the incident.

This stinking cheating bollocks has been going on for far too long. This happened in 2009.

I was thinking about the SWP incident the other day. Tony Pulis the shot house grass went blabbing his mouth on MOTD and the next thing we knew Sean was getting charged. It's another example of how important the media are in terms of being judge and jury.

So in a year where we may have benefitted, we ignore it? Can only remember this one from 11/12, although Vinnie could have been penalised at the corner where Edin got the equaliser against QPR.
Spurs (h) 2-2, Ballotelli not sent off and then getting and scoring the winning penalty.
I don't think referees don't make monumental cock-ups and that some of those have a detrimental effect on our results as some of them benefit us. I just don't believe there is a conscious, preordained series of decisions to do City down.

I remember reading somewhere. Maybe another forum that Mike Dean wasn't suppose to let us win that day. He went off script. Can you actually believe people think this?

Unbelievable.

Interestingly Skirtel has just been yellow carded for a similar incident to the Sergio, Reid challenge

As I said earlier to The Light Was Yellow - they are human and with that being the case are flawed. There could be loads of reasons why certain refs don't like us and they aren't all to do with finances or lining their pockets.
It's not beyond the realms of possibility that Clattenberg has a problem with us. He might not and we could just be unlucky but there's no way anybody can say with 100% certainty that everything is clean. Not a fucking chance.

The same Clattenburg who publically stated that he hated Bellamy & sent him off for being hacked down against Bolton

So they broke their own rules. And you think that's a good thing.

Another to add to the list.
Only because the rules aren't fit for purpose. What Adebayor did hadn't been legislated for, therefore they had to go around them. They did the right thing punishing him.

But was it OK for the FA not to punish Arsenal for the vile racist chants Adebayor suffered from their fans.

You are talking bollocks.

Henry had done it against Spurs. Neville had done it against Liverpool. Neither were charged.

Just because you can't remember stuff as you were a baby doesn't make your ignorance correct.

They also didn't 'punish' him as his ban was suspended and they broke their own rules to do so.

And whilst I'm on it. Why did he need to be punished. He didn't leave the field of play.

Jog on.
