It looks he properly fucked up his career yesterday.

Respect to Chelsea for doing that.
If he has made racist remarks then not even the Govan piss can will be able to save his career....which is nice

I think the word we're looking for here ladies and gentlemen is called karma..
Goodbye mr clattenburg, you can hang your syrup and whistle up on the way to the dole office..

He should just retire or the Fa just sack him! Every big game something controversial happens when he referees

That won't be necessary. He'll be able to resume his highly successful electrical contracting business.
If he's got a successful business outside of reffing, then why the fuck does he want to make himself look a twat for 90mins every saturday?
As a bit of a sidetrack, was his last game for utd the 1-6 when he sent franco baresi evans off?

I think it's time you left

I agree

I don't.
He is clearly a wumming amateur when compared to the awesome talent displayed by our moderators.
Why not let him stay so that he can learn his trade at the feet of true masters of the art?

LOL - I thought you'd gone scurrying back off to The Cellar after getting your fingers badly burnt in the brown envelope thread and realising that when you try and mix it upstairs it's a different ballgame altogether ;)

I'm sure it's already been mentioned several times, but for me we have got to have goal line technology and an appeals system asap. If each team was allowed up to one appeal each half, which would take no longer than a minute to sort out, this would expose the cheats and divers ( e.g. Young yet again on sunday ) and they would think twice about doing it. Each team could have an appeal for penalty, offside and sendings off only for an official to review, just like cricket and rugby. If we get an appeals system, which is optional for each team then they can use it if they feel an injustice. The other good thing to come out of it would be that the Rags would stop benefitting from these outragous decisions. At present every other club gets good and bad decisions 50/50, the Rags seem to get 90/10 in their favour and this has got to stop.
