I think it's pretty obvious we want both. We will not settle for a keeper who can only do half of what we want. That's why Joe had to go and that's why Claudio won't start next season as our number one.

Just seen their goal. Awful keeping. Fuck him off in the summer. Would rather Nicky Weaver back, even at the age of 38.

Fine. But is that what we want from a keeper? Or, do we want him to actually save shots? It seems obvious that Pep wants a ball playing goalkeeper, who can start attacks. But if we keep letting in soft goals, it makes the job so much harder. Not all opposition teams will be as docile as Hull were yesterday.

Thats true and why we will buy a new keeper in the summer, probably Ederson. For this season though the choice is between the slightly better saving of Cabellero against the ball playing of Bravo. I guess most of us would say Cabellero but I think for Pep its a harder decision because he bases so much on his keepers ball playing.
