Absolutely correct but compare the slagging off on here that both keepers get for making a similar error. Quite sad, and I think you are correct that there is a small minority just wanting to be vindicated.

I side with the keepers. When the ball is deflected and you have your weight or direction of travel set for a shot and the ball suddenly moves counter to where it was headed then it can be very difficult to recover.

I hope, for everyone's sake, Bravo finds a new club and a fresh start for next season.

Well, that's a debate for another thread isn't it?! This one is discussing the perceived shortcomings of the goalkeeper, not the shortcomings of the goalkeeper relative to the shortcomings of other positions on the pitch.

You just have to pity him now, its getting ridiculous. You just know he will go back to spain and be a world beater again. Curious case, but best for everyone to just sell him now. I would play willy at wembley as well, just because he is in better orm and has confidence, which bravo just doesnt have.

It is odd that the first thread was pulled where anyone suggesting he wasn't good enough got dogs abuse, as suggesting he would be dropped and sold and the end of the season was rediculed .
