What has he done in the shot stopping dept since he signed for us? burnley was a simple tip it over the bar and he made a good save in the boro game, anything else?
Made a decent save at Swansea apart from that to say he's been disappointing would be a understatement.

you know what I mean. fans that want the best for city and not just for bravo. fans that are not bothered about losing face as long as city improve. that sort of thing.

Bournemouth, Watford,Arsenal (he made a save off Giroud), Palace away, Burnley home and away, West Brom away (clean sheet), Hull City (another clean sheet), Swansea away were games where we have won when Bravo had played.
2 clean sheets tell me he has not been stopping many shots,he has the worse stats in the league for shots conceeded,in your list you have a shot saved in the arses game that's it
Pep has dropped him as willy is the safer pair of hands,it's that simple,he should be 10 times better than willy as i keep getting told about his past glories but he is a unsafe pair of hands, good distribution though..

Clean sheets are also down to the defence as well ( all down to communication and that doesn't happen overnight). Willy has the benefit of being at the club for more than one season.

Our defence has exposed his shot stopping to be rubbish,to be fair to him it's probably the first time he has been so exposed but he needs to learn and fast,i don't care who the no 1 is so long as they are confident, can keep the defenders organised and be able to save shots

Give Bravo time and he will be. He wasn't rubbish at his other club Real Sociedad either.

We can't afford to give him time,he has already let too many savable ones in,it might take a full preseason in the summer for him to blossom then all is well for next season, lets hope so

We are going to have to give him the time and support. Even if we are going to bring another keeper he is going to have same arguments and mud slung at him as both WIlly and Bravo had been given

Dier i think it was was standing in front of willy so he saw it late as bravo would have done i expect so no blame there

That's not the point though is it? There was absolutely no blame attached to either of Spurs' goals. Didn't stop people blaming Bravo.

I just say it as it is. i'll say if he's blameless. that said if he doesn't touch the ball all game it doesn't stop me, proper fans and the players shitting it.

You blamed Bravo for goals he certainly was responsible for. As a 'proper fan' I'd just expect a balanced opinion.

On balance he hasn't been good enough which is why the managers had to replace him with a second string keeper, to be honest it doesn't look like he's going to improve in the near future either.Sometimes players come to a club who've performed elsewhere and for one reason or another it doesn't work for them, this is beginning to look like one of them times.

Very little to do with the point I was making. Bravo would have been blamed yesterday had that goal gone in.
Just think people should be fair.

Quite possible people would have blamed him he's/was our first choice keeper and it would be silly to say he's looked a top class keeper in his time with us.I think Willy should have done better with the shot but he is just the back up keeper so top save's he makes are a bit of a bonus,he's a competent keeper winding his career down.

I was fair and then you threw in the spurs game

He was blamed against Spurs(no idea if you did), the crtisism at some point was ludicrous and totally undeserved.

Many of the hysterical reactions to some very good finishing started to detract from some valid points. Again, I'm not finger pointing..

I think he is not settling, and has been found out in the Prem League where teams aren't afraid to shoot against the big boys. How many top quality South American goalkeepers can anyone remember in recent years?
Dida? Julio Cesar?
Look at Argentina, Sergio Romero has hardly played first team football in the last five years

I agree, the problem wouldn't be an issue if it had been Willy who went out on loan, I think Pep was a little too loyal to Bravo who should have been dropped a month ago.

He wouldn't be blamed for that kind of goal. It would be a 'he could have done better', as with Willy as well he could have done better for that goal. What was good to see last saturday was how commanding Willy was from the back, and footwork and distribution wise he looks comparable if not the better keeper. A few more games with Willy will show if these traits and some good shotstopping positioning will make a difference. So far the numbers are building to that but we haven't reached a saturation point to conclude anything really.

It seems even a benching can't stop this thread from growing. Damn! There are some deep feelings about Bravo.
