Claudio Bravo - 2016/2017 performances (continued)

I'll go on record and say that Bravo is a world class keeper who's simply struggled with the new league and language.

Every former player who has played with him has commented about how good he is, he was nominated by PLAYERS as one of the give best keepers on the planet.

Where Pep dropped a bollock was that baptism of fire at Old Trafford, it was ridiculous that he played in that game, and it's had a detrimental effect. I'd much rather stayed than Willy, and I'm convinced he'll prove his doubters wrong if he does stay.
i'll amazed if he stays and more so that he would prove any doubters wrong if he did.

the rest I agree with. been shite here mind.

It's a healthy debate. I don't see anyone trolling the thread to be honest. Just a divided opinion on a goalkeeper who can't actually keep goal.

Anyway if you post about the topic rather than a poster that would be great.

this is how it goes.
Bill. "bravo is shite"
Bill. "bravo is shite"
Bill. "bravo is shite"
Bill. "blah blah blah joe hart"

Other poster takes bait

Bill. "LOLOL bravo is shite"

Bill chuckles to himself because he's got the attention he craves.

I believe you're the one with by far the most posts on this thread and I'd imagine you were also a big part of the old thread being removed. Maybe there was too much healthy debate in there too?

You've even managed to squeeze another unnecessary dig in whilst I've been typing this. Congratulations, you're still banging on about a squad member who's not even played a league game for two months and hasn't been on the losing side when played in the FA cup (even going as far as to say you'll stop going to watch City if he carries on playing).

You are being mind bogglingly petty and immature so I was asking a serious question which I will repeat, what are you getting out of trolling this thread?

Could it possibly be connected to the constant stream of mild and childish insults you aim at our manager?

Have fun deflecting.

Haha, you could've addressed my post about cup keeper policy and our success/failure with it in recent seasons that I referred to in my post above but no, for some reason you don't want to engage in healthy debate .

If you ignore him he'll go away. Stop engaging with his bullshit.

Now you're just giving him what he wants.

Bravo was Man of the Match in the Copa America Final last year, when Chile were crowned Champions.
Hart fucked up twice in the Euroa and England were knocked out by Iceland.

Doesn't really prove anything, but to say that Bravo's shite is ridiculous.

when have i insulted the manager. the genius that has give the season of our lives?

I may pass comment on all things city but that's about it.

sorry that irritates you.

btw the way the squad member you mention is about to put us out of the only trophy left for us to win. shame our fantastic unquestionable non erring genius of a manager couldn't protect a 2 goal advantage over in Monaco.

you keep nodding, i'll say it as it is.

I actually said he's been shite here. I honestly couldn't give a rats arse what he does for Chile just as I don't when Stones etc pull on an England shirt.

Been a while since I've been on the Bravo topic. See Bill is still there being Bill. And seeking and loving the attention. Well laddie, you will get bored the day Bravo leaves our club. Make sure you have a back-up plan by than.

you might not but i'll stay. on topic.

what are your thoughts about bravo and his time here? any good?

They are never on topic, they just attack people with a different opinion. The same people all the time. Selling Hart was a big mistake. Buying Bravo was even bigger. Club and manager made a mistake but I m not so sure they will fix it. It's never good when a person/manager has to much power.

I would have kept Hart but understand why pep wanted a keeper like bravo. However once it was clear it hasn't worked he should have been benched. Much sooner than he was. Quite how people see him as good enough for Manchester city is beyond me. It's like we have to praise everything about the club and the team on here. It's bollocks and rag like.players owners and managers are allowed mistakes, that's life. We just have to learn from it.

Even Pep admitted that he made some mistakes, but there are still people thinking Pep is beyond mistake. As for Hart, sorry, I disagree: We should have never sold him! There are so many reasons why not, that I don't have time to write them. You can't just come and bring 11 new players, this is not fifa manager! You have to be aware of clubs identity, fans, history, legends, etc. I don't want success at all costs. I m not a Real fan to boo Casillas in his last game for the club. We are not a toy or a plastic club with plastic fans, do we really want to show the world otherwise? There happened so many things that frustrates me this days.. And it all started with de Jong being sold.

Presumably you thought my comments were aimed directly at you?

Pure coincidence, because despite our difference of opinion, I was referring to the general misguided belief that Hart might have saved the Kolarov own goal at Tottenham, or Stones’ blind backpasses against Southampton and Leicester.

In reality, Bravo’s biggest mistake was during a game that we eventually won at the swamp. Yes, there’s a few that he might have done better, (ditto Hart last season), but would we have won more points, when the team as a whole saved their worst performances for White Hart Lane, Kingpower, Anfield, and Goodison?
Are people seriously arguing that Bravo cost us those games?

As for the home games, two missed penalties didn’t help against Everton. Neither did De Bruyne’s open goal miss against Chelsea, or the diabolical non-penalty for Walker’s push on Sterling.

We were an absolute defensive shambles at both Everton and Leicester, but Bravo carried the can, so you’ve all got your own way, and it’s a waste of time discussing it any further. Goalkeepers don't return from sarcastic applause.

Meanwhile, Torino have got one of the worst defensive records in Serie A

Good post. It's noticeable how some go AWOL on here when asked to prove their beliefs.

Who? Seriously, who? It's astonishing how often I see this despite nobody saying this at all, it's just a pathetic way of attacking people indirectly.

I don't expect a response seeing as nobody ever provides one when pulled up on it.
