See Bravo's getting plenty of stick from certain quarters but, strangely, he might just have earned us an away point. He didn't ask Gundogan to put him in that position, if he doesn't come out he allows Illicic into the area and it's either a goal or a penalty and a red card or if he comes out and stays on his feet he's almost certainly conceding a goal. It looked like the only contact came from Illicic to be honest and it's hard to see a reason why Bravo got a red but the Atalanta player just a yellow.

Gundogan knew exactly what he has done after Bravo saw red.
Bravo did right, but rushing out like that I don't complain about red, ref didn't have a real choice.
(But yes, after VAR overturned the penalty call, yellow should have been changed to red vs Atalanta).

In case Bravo starts on Sunday he could be of some use saving the odd penalty.

Made the right decision to take him out, even if the striker conned the ref. Had we gone 2-1 down we wouldn’t have equalised.
