We very good at playing out from the back today and looked really composed in general. As you say it bodes well.

Did very well, top performance, could he have held the second shot for the goal.

His sweeping today was brave and high (cheek and Chong style)

Not worried in the slightest about him facing the dippers on Sunday.

He has obviously worked hard to overcome his injury and looks sharp and decisive - credit where credit is due.

I'm just glad Ederson wasn't here in Pep's first season.

Yeah, so am I.

I’ve said it before, but whoever took over from Joe was on a hiding to nothing; it was just Claudio's bad luck that it was him.

He has been brilliant this pre-season, especially on Saturday and has justified his position as our No. 2 goalkeeper.

Just read the feature on him on the official website. I’m so glad he’s over his injury and think he can make a real contribution to this season.

His professionalism is a credit to him after what happened when he lost his place in the team. He clearly wants to remain part of our club and win more trophies!

He deserves a lot of credit for the way he has battled back. I no longer fear a goal against us when the ball goes near him

Claudio Bravo came to the aid of four families in Chile by buying them four houses after theirs were decimated by wildfire. [@MailSport]

One of the children affected by the fire had reached out to Bravo, a nine-year-old boy named Camilo, and asked for a signed shirt, but the City star went the extra mile to help the homeless families.

Camilo's grandfather, Miguel: "They interviewed my grandson when the fire was and he said he would like to have Claudio Bravo's shirt. Then he contacted him and told him that he was going to give him his shirt. And in addition a house."

Cue the Daily Mail headline; "Johnny Foreigner footballer Claudio Bravo, who plays for arab-owned, oil funded Manchester City, flashes his obscene wealth in a disgusting display of arrogance and "look at me"-ness.

He was poor his first season, no doubt about it. Was very good as a backup the second season and helped us win the Carabao Cup. He was always a top tier player despite the first season and is showing again now that he's more comfortable in the team and healthy. Seems like a good guy in the locker room too.
