Valdes might be an option he has retired so would be available and would know the system from his Barca days, just a thought

so you would be happy if our only goalie never got a break? from travel, the preparation, pre-match...and the games.
He travels and prepares for all the games that bravo plays in, so apart from strolling around his box for 90 minutes and spraying a few passes about it won’t be an issue

Yes as he’s always there as a sub anyway. So the travel and preparation and pre-match are exactly the same.so you would be happy if our only goalie never got a break? from travel, the preparation, pre-match...and the games.
The only difference is the playing minutes.
Do people forget five years ago all of a sudden when your keeper would play every game.
Ederson is hardly run off his feet for 95% of the time he plays.

I'd honestly be delighted to have Grimshaw on the bench another local lifelong City lad and Ederson would play all the cup games so that's a bonus. On the other hand when Ederson comes up against Mane again then what? Stuart Taylor makes sense as he was here for years & was a PL back up last season or we could stick Wright on the subs. Then there's Johnny Placide who was just released by Oldham because of his high wages but before laughing this guy is a sweeper keeper & he is absolutely fantastic with his feet & is the number 1 for Haiti. Have a look at his distribution & clips on YouTube he's honestly a decent shout.

I'd be more worried about someone trying to injure him knowing how vulnerable we now are.In all seriousness this is terrible news.

I'd sooner have Grimshaw or Muric. At least they can play out from the back, and I don't know if you've been keeping up with him, but Torino and West Ham fans were very glad to see him leave their clubs because he was making regular howlers.
Better to let Hart try and salvage his career at a club like Burnley where he'll not be asked to do anything except save a few long range shots that make it past their 10 man brick wall.
A spell in goal behind our high line, being asked to play out from the back would end his career, and our chances of winning a cup.
