Claudio Bravo Injury - Muric Recalled from NAC Breda

Why do we have recall clauses with some players and not others. Is it because some are of the clubs are part of the CFG group. I get the feeling that we pulled some strings to get Muric back. Not saying it's not the right to do but NAC Breda seemed to be saying that Muric couldn't come back.

I suspect that the goalkeeper position is treated differently as (much as I admire the guy) you wouldn't want to rely on Fabian Delph filling in due to injuries. As proven by recent events it is the correct and smart thing to do. We're helping NAC Breda out I believe in sorting a replacement for themselves.

Not sure why some people are getting exercised about this. Neither Hart nor Gunn would have wanted to stay (presumably). The club had the foresight to insert a recall clause for Muric. Those who know him best are prepared to give him a whirl, rather than bring a loanee.

If he turns out to be shit - and I sincerely hope not - we could buy a replacement in January.

To me that covers most reasonable risks. You can’t insure against every possible eventuality life throws at you.

Is this actually the case or did Breda just agree to let him come back when we asked?

When Pep first arrived at City he took a look at all the players and he came to the conclusion that one player could play in any role.

So, if Ederson is injured and Muric steps up, providing he’s not serving a ban for picking up 5 yellow cards we’ve always got Fernandinho as backup
Though I’d prefer John Stones.
