Claudio Bravo Injury - Muric Recalled from NAC Breda

I hope our management team have this one covered.
Given that a long term injury to Ederson or Bravo has always been a possibility I strongly suspect that any other significant goalkeeper (in this case Muric ) will have a recall clause in his loan contract.
Fingers crossed this is the case.

Don't think we can recall muric as it's a season long loan - that's the rule in England so imagine it will be the same in Europe too

IIRC The loan rules were changed to prevent out of transfer window call backs

I would imagine so, as it makes sense, because all kinds of results manipulation could take place otherwies, if you can just pluck out a player who is the mainstay of a team.

But, the transfer window is still open in Europe, so maybe that could affect when the rule kicks in.

All the best to Claudio. Terrible for him.

Sorry but Grimshaw reminds me of Margetson when he broke through. Nowhere near ready and not sure he’ll ever be ready for top end PL level. Muric is a different class completely.

There's nothing else we can do. It's either that or sign some 40 year old free agent that hasn't played in over a year. The club obviously felt ok having Grimshaw as 3rd choice otherwise they would have kept Gunn or Muric here.

That's not necessarily true.

At some point, you have to respect that your young employees are entitled to have careers in football, which may not suit our first team 100% but otherwise will mean no young players will ever sign for us in the future.
