Welcome Claudio! Don't forget your pan pipes for your initiation and then go and win us some trophies.
Pep said he might play and the BBC and papers are going that he will start, after press conference briefing it seemsCheers. How do we know Joe will be playing ?
Bless. I wish Joe well but don't believe the hype. None of the players you idolise feel the same way towards you or the club you support. They care about their own career and nothing more. If Joe could choose between staying as No1 and us winning the odd trophy without Pep or Pep being here and him leaving but us winning the CL, he'd choose to stay and be number 1 all day long (and who'd blame him?). But the fans and the players hopes and dreams of success for the club are only aligned for the same amount of time as they are getting picked to play for the starting 11.
Sorry if that bursts your bubble.
And I'm not in the least bit bitter. I'm over the moon, we've just improved our team and I hope Joe goes on somewhere great and enjoys a long a prosperous career and has a happy life with his loving wife.

Yes you're right, my bubble is truly burst. Didn't realise that you'd talk with such authority and clarity on the matter. There's clearly no kind of connection with any player with any club beyond the money. Thanks for clearing that up. Everything and one connected to any football club is mearly an employee in a business to make money by winning trophies, the fans only turn up as long as the club is winning, character, charisma and connection between the fans is none existent in players.Bless. Not cynical. I just know a good number of former players on a social basis.Yes you're right, my bubble is truly burst. Didn't realise that you'd talk with such authority and clarity on the matter. How's it go again? /sarcasm
I'll amend my statement though..must be sad being so cynical in life.
There's probably the length of a thumbnail in height between him and Iker Casillas. I wouldn't be unduly worried. With the exception of his heavy first touch in the opening minute of that video, his distribution did indeed look excellent. My only concern is his lack of height. I surmise that facing corners could be somewhat more difficult for him here than they were in Spain.
Imminent.Has bravo signed yet?

Fkn bunch of jelly brains. Fck off to to the Joe Hart thread and bicker on there. We are about to sign a major star of world football. Celebrate it instead of lining up behind the RAG media and waiting for mistakes. Get behind our new number 1 ( or 20 or whatever). Thanks Joe, done a great job and will always be a hero but you blew it in the Arsenal game. Leave with dignity and don't diss the club when you do. Welcome to Manchester CB, let us feel the force!!
Cheers. How do we know Joe will be playing ?
Fucking hell could you imagine the furore if that happened.Wonder in all honesty if Pep feels a bit "damned if he doesn`t play him, damned if he does"play him or not.A finale for Joe in the City colours,as I can`t see him wanting to be number three at City ? This time tomorrow we`ll know the answer mate.Be funny if Pep came out with. In my country we do April 1st jokes on 24th August.
Seriously though, you can't see that it's the player/fan connection that sets football aside from other sports? Fowler, Anelka these lads were great footballers and collectively won far more than Goater ever did outside of city, but it was Shaun that we had the connection with, he's the one still involved with the club. Not cynical. I just know a good number of former players on a social basis.
There's not a single thing in the post you've just quoted that isn't true. I'm sorry about that.
50% blinded by sentiment,50% can see the light.Seriously though, you can't see that it's the player/fan connection that sets football aside from other sports? What's wrong with getting swept up in the ideal, the love of it all, fans don't ware the trophy count on the back of their shirts it's the players names. What's wrong with allowing yourself get attached to the players, it all adds to the atmosphere, the experience.
I'm more than aware Joe's skill set is no longer compatible with Pep's requirements, but that in my book doesn't make him shit or a target of scorn from our own fans.
We're on the brink of signing Barca's 1st choice keeper, I'm exited with the prospect, but why bash Hart?
