Clichy's French snub.

Clichy plays well every single week. Evra's good, he used to be very good but he's not anymore and Gaël is better. Not just saying that because he's ours and Evra's a smug Rag tart, as I'll openly admit that Carrick has been miles better than Barry over this full season so it's not like I'd just blindly say that all our players are better than theirs.

I still think clichy whilst being good could improve his all round game.

Defensively he is good but going forward he doesn't create enough.

Considering our fullbacks are supposed to provide our width, Zabaleta has been much more threatening.

He is still better than evra in my opinion defensively but evra has the edge going forward.

He needs better competition than Kolorov.

Even United fans are moaning about his serious lack of pace and his defensive frailties. That said, and selfish as it may be, better that Clichy doesn't play for the cheese eaters so he stays fit for us.

In my opinion Evra's a very good player who nets the odd goal , overlaps well , and delivers a killer ball into the box ......

it's a really tough call between him and Clichy though , there really isn't that much between them .... probably just the personal 'preference' of the French team manager.

Agree. Seems like a horrible twat. I still can't understand why Clichy is not the first choice - he is twice the player Evra is.

Clichy, 0 goals, 3 assists, 6 shots

He has played less games but for me this is an area where he could add more.

No. I don't always agree with Mancini's setup but to say Clichy's crossing is inconsistent is incredibly kind.

He was the captain, and as such, was the manager's representative on the pitch.

Apart from this, I have always believed in ditching the old guard after a World Cup finals and concentrating on the next one, and those who will still be around in four years' time.

That is why, after the last World Cup, England should have ditched, among others, the racist chav and camel-gob.

The same applies to France and Evra, IMHO.
