I have watched dempsey for the whole of this season in what has been a struggling Fulham team. 2 hat tricks,strength,power...I know,lets just spunk another 30 milliion because we can....

We havn't got anyone similar,a no nonsense midfielder/secondary striker with superb aerial ability.His timing is superb and he links midfield and attack as good as anyone.
He wouldn't cost a great deal(fee and wage) still 28 and contracted till end of 2013.
I think him,Samba and Ba would be excellent 'budget' signings and superb squad players.

Because we pretty much have a first choice 11 but our squad needs improving and those are both players who would fit within that criteria and would also satisfy FFP.
Dempsey is no superstar but he is a proven consistent prem contributor and would be far more valuable to us than DJ imo,he brinngs much more to the table and has a versatility Mancini craves.
