Clive Myrie

Clive and Lyse have looked tired for a few days, it must be the broken nights sleep catching up. Let’s face it, they’re awake all day doing their day jobs and then taking cover in the underground bunkers as they call them.
They’re staying in Kiev, notably other reporters from other stations have already left Kiev for safer ground. Remarkable reporting by the BBC.

Clive looks fucking tired out this evening on the 6 o’clock
We discussed this last night, but you have to remember he's reading an auto cue below the camera, so his eyes look partly closed because he's looking down. If you watch his eyes he is definitely reading a screen.

He probably isn't getting a lot of sleep either.

Orla Guerin has been everywhere. Particularly brave as her sister Veronica, a crime journalist and investigator, was shot dead.

This is from Orla's Wiki page - ffs back in the day it was a pick it up as you go along job wasn't it? This sounds like something Damien out of Drop The Dead Donkey would wear as a badge of honour not with a shiver down his spine thinking what might have been

Regularly reporting from war zones, in 2002 Guerin told Evening Standard contributor Quentin Letts about having to wear appropriate clothing:

I got my first flak jacket from the Irish Army but they did not give me the armour plates that you slip into the vest. Without them the jacket was about as much use as a white handkerchief. I'm a bit more knowledgeable now and luckily the armour plates have become lighter. You cannot run very fast with a flak jacket on but sometimes you have to wear one. I have known colleagues who have died without them.[3]
