club america v city

It's bloody embarrasing us following united around america and wondering why the stadiums are empty. And the kit unveiling one week after they unveiled theirs in Chicago, Cook needs to grow an imagination. A tour of Ireland would have been ideal. The guy is a muppet. And another thing that gets my Goat, this new kit. It is basically the same as the last kit without the white collar. No new sponsors or anything, just an extra 40 quid for a non white collar. What is the point of that?
Your post smells of rag... We were invited to take part in that tournament last week along with spuds.

I for one think it would have been great if ye ended up in Ireland. Happened a few times where the likes of Doyle, Robbie Keane..etc got to play against their old clubs, Roy Keane brought his team back and played his old club. Irish football isn't recognised as, well it's not really recognised at all. Any boost is a major boost. Look at Rovers playing Juventus tonight, they're not my club, but fuck it it'd be a great result and a massive day for Irish football they got a result.

I'm not going to lie to ya, United opening up the stadium is going to be a huge night, a great night, and it'll bring in a lot of money for the place which is what is needed desperately. Would the same have happened if City were opening it..a fair old crowd would have wanted to turn up and see the type of players we now have..especially Shay Given, play.

United have a massive fan base in Ireland, obviously, but that's cause kids growing up just went with their parents following whoever they followed, and it rarely changed circles, United, Arsenal, Liverpool. But just as Chelsea fans grew, so will City, and I'm telling you, City wouldn't have been short of fans if the club came.
We'll do anything for a good night, the more games the better. The more money the better, City are the richest club in the world, Irish clubs are dying on their feet. But I guess, when it comes down to it, to a choice..America or little old Ireland for a glittery pre season tour..Two different worlds I guess.

Before last nights game I thought Yaya Toure was one of the 3 best box to box midfielders in the world, along with De Rossi and Essien. After watching him closely last night, I actually think he might be the best. He's better going forward and more creative than De Rossi, and I think he's better on the ball and a better passer than Essien. The guy is tailor made for the Prem, big, strong, athletic, intellegent with the ball, fantastic touch. You can tell he has played at Barca his technique is incredible for his size.

fully agree
He is top notch. People will soon realise , he is so much more than a stopper. He is exactly what we have needed for such a long time.
