Yes, there is a danger they're trying to shoehorn too much in. I still think it will look good though. Branding is hugely important to City, and they're not going to produce a monstrosity.

Normally I would agree with you mate, but they managed to produce the Melborne montrosity. The very definition of shoe horning too much in, whoever signed that off will be signing off our new badge.

They also signed off the "Cityzens" logo, and that's as monsterous a logo as I've ever seen in my life!

I was really excited when the first two teasers came out for ship and rivers; keep it clean, simple, iconic.

Now with the 1894 and red rose posters I'm absolutely dreading it. Unfortunately trying to appease as many people as possible, you usually end up pissing them all off.

Do you think? Personally, the 3 rivers themselves aren't the icon I associate with Manchester, or City. It's the 3 rivers inside a shield that is on the CoA and our previous badges that means something to me. Take the 3 lines outside of that shield and they are completely meaningless.
