Club Wembley Crew

Iam in Block 102 row 1, virtually sat on Pellegrinis knee!! So any inspired substitiutions maybe influenced by a pissed up yours truly!

I've got three across Block 229/230. I know quite a few London Blues who've got themselves sorted in Club. Whilst the Sunderland fans are more likely than us to be willing to pay over the odds, I think all our Wembley visits in the recent past mean a lot of our fans will probably have the better connect and access to contacts who can sort Club level tickets.

Last year in Club for Wigan was as expected with such a small club, must have been at least 75% City. That certainly won't be the case on Sunday.

CW for the Wigan final was mainly City but that was purely due to Wigan's low fan base. Sunderland do have a sizeable fan base and it is their first final for 22 years. However I would still be very surprised if CW was sold out. How a Sunderland board can estimate 80% of those in CW will be their fans is beyond me. As someone with inside knowledge has said they reckon it is 60:40 in our favour and even if that is wrong how can it change to 80:20 in their favour........Anyway seeing as shirts aren't allowed in CW most Sunderland fans will be semi naked

Sat on the front row of block 214 right next to the Sunderland scoreboard.
It was the 6 th time I have sat there and I have to say it was my worst experience in club Wembley.
I found some of the Sunderland fans , although not intimidating at all , to be cocky and a little bit arrogant. They were high fiving each other at half time and thought they had the game won (big mistake).

Me and my 11 year old decided to move ends at half and the rest is history.
Sat next to 2 old mates of mine I have not seen for 20 years (by complete chance).

I have no doubt in my mind our decision to move influenced the outcome of the game.....

The ones near us in 234 were a good bunch. They were talking to my son when we were getting beat and saying keep your chin up it ain't over etc. At full time they were shaking our hands and saying see you in the semi final etc. They apologized in case they were over the top during the game as they didn't expect to have a chance.

They came out with plenty of the usual banter but nothing to get wound up about. I now know Colback as 'Ginger Jack'!
