Clubs furloughing staff

The money the Government has allocated is to help genuine people who through no fault of their own have found themselves in a position of vulnerability..

C***'s like the Dippers have excercised a loophole and are draining the funds that were not meant for them.

Anyone with an ounce of decency and respect for the situation the Country is in can see that..

Forget what all the sycophantic media and ex players keep telling us..

They have no class and will never have class..!

The thing is, for those associated (and the millions who have no association with them or the city they play in and just latch onto them because they won trophies in the 70s and 80s) with them, is that they’ve got a cult mentality about them and will feel no shame in this whatsoever.

All of their plebs in Preston, Putney, Plymouth and Portadown won’t even see anything wrong with it.

That club and it’s fan base are a despicable set of ****s.

Just had a scan at their official announcement and the Twitter comments and, remarkably, most condemn it...
 
I wonder what the situation is with our friends in Trafford? Liverpool were bragging about being on trajectory to have a higher turn over than the rags by next year with United seeing a drop in revenue from no Champions league football. I would hazard a guess the Glazers would have been giving the option of furloughing staff to fund the wage bill and also even more worryingly for them the debt they sit on. I would imagine the lenders they owe money too are getting very twitchy on who can pay them back.

City coming out and making a statement now makes any other club taking the furlough option look very bad.
