Any club furloughing staff should be classed as "not a big club" for eternity.

This measure was really intended to help small businesses. I can forgive (say) Rochdale or Crewe, but any so-called "big club" going down this route should hang its head in shame. And donate future profits to the NHS for 10 consecutive years.

To be fair that’s what Utd fans on Twitter said about us.

I think the truth is both clubs had probably decided a while ago, we certainly did a week ago.

Utd were the first to confirm they’d continue to pay zero hour temp staff, so this is consistent with that.
