Club's strategy. What next?

Ok say realistically we won't get messi. Would we settle for selling those players and bringing in Pogba and Bale instead? Changed my mind on navas as I think at least he brings pace in to our team.

Starting line up

Hart,
zab, kompany, mangala, clichy,
Milner, silva, Fernandinho, Pogba, bale
Aguero

Bench- willy, MDM (signed a new contract), sagna, navas, Fernando, bony

4-5-1 with the option to bring bony on and switch to 4-4-2.

This would certainly freshen the team up and maybe get rid of some of the disruptive personalities in the dressing room.

We've more chance of signing Messi than Milner signing a new contract.

As long as Cheeky monkey is in charge of the transfers don't expect anymore than another €30,000,000 spunked in to the coffers of other clubs for average players. Id more expect us to sell Aguero to Real for €45,000,000 and we replace him with Charlie Austin for €50,000,000 then we sell Silva and Toure for €40,000,000 combined and replace with Giovanni Dos Santos and Anderson. Then our transition from Champions to back where we started would be complete and cheeky monkey could go back to Barca a hero

Clichy is nowhere near the level we are looking for. And going on current from neither is Zabba's or Kompany's I hate to say. They both need a rapid improvement

That's unlikely. Making snide remarks about other people's opinions is his thing.

Not just his thing from what I've seen. Unless you have thousands of posts your opinion is ridiculed.

Well we all do it at sometimes I suppose but most posters offer their own opinions on City as well. Every time I see one of his posts he is just ridiculing someone's opinion and almost never voicing an opinion of his own.

Find a system that suits the players we have or decide on a system and recruit manager and players to match.

Judging by the Milner thread that'd be a letdown for some fans.
